PhyToga For Back Health
Part 2 NEW this week
Join Christine for a complete back health and core stability series at three levels- Foundations, All Levels and Plus. I will also be introducing Transverse Abdominis (TA) muscle. We often talk about "engaging our core", "pull belly button to spine" but what does that really mean and why do we do it?? Your TA muscle is a key component of core stability and back health and we will do a total body workout with focus on "training" this muscle to support us with exercise and everyday activities. We will also work on hip, thoracic and cervical spine mobility, which are important contributing factors to a healthy back. I have leveled this series so you can gauge where you are with core stability and then progress yourself OR work at one level repetitively to fine tune your core before moving on to the next level. I go over function and mechanics for the first 5 minutes of each session so feel free to skip if you want to get right to the exercises, but if you want to exercise your brain, come join me for the discussion and let me hear your comments after you take the series.
